With this series, I share my personal postpartum experience. Using the language of abstraction, intricate visual layering, and purposely associated color choices, I express the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual challenges. Including the inability to breastfeed, the overwhelming exhaustion, the healing difficulties. and the loss of self identity.
