It’s the “after” that hurts the most. The aftermath of love—the kind that is both tender and wounding. We were young, still becoming ourselves, still learning how to love without breaking.

In the “after”, there is a silence that lingers—a constant ache within the walls of my heart. There are panic attacks caused by grief: the breathless moments, the mornings when tears are the first language spoken. It takes me years to begin again. Time softens the edges but never fully erases the imprint.

Even after a decade, their presence lingers like a melody—unfinished yet complete. I have moved on in some ways, yet in others, I carry them still.

Abstract in its form, the piece mirrors the nature of its themes—love and loss, presence and absence, memory and forgetting. It is immersive, like the emotions it carries, pulling the viewer into a space that feels at once intimate and infinite.
